Every year, International Women’s Day gives me a moment to stop, breathe, and reflect on the extraordinary strength, resilience, and brilliance of women in my life, in my work, and across our communities.
But in 2026, it feels different. It feels bigger.
Give to Gain’ matters because when people and organisations choose to show up, support, invest, mentor, advocate, speak up, and open doors, it amplifies how we all work together.
For me, this year’s theme Give To Gain, is a mindset shift. It’s a call to generosity, collaboration, and reciprocity. Because giving is not a loss. Giving is intentional multiplication.
When we give, we create space for more women to rise. When women rise, families rise. Communities rise. Organisations rise. The whole country rises.
And giving can look different for every one of us:
- A donation that funds access to essentials
- Sharing knowledge or networks
- Offering resources or infrastructure
- Providing visibility and amplification
- Advocating when someone isn’t in the room
- Delivering education and training
- Saying “Yes, I’ll mentor you”
- Sharing time, energy, or lived experience
Every contribution, big or small, feeds into a more supportive, interconnected world. That’s the power of Give To Gain.
What This Means in My Work
My work, across my brands, organisations, and partnerships, is grounded in a simple but bold belief:
Women already have what they need inside them. The right support helps unlock it.
Through Allara Support Services and the broader ecosystem of brands I’ve built, I’ve seen firsthand how much women can achieve when the right structures wrap around them.
Supporting Mothers Returning to Work
The return to work during and after motherhood is one of the biggest transitions in a woman’s life. And too often, it’s made harder than it needs to be. At Allara, we empower women with flexibility, coaching, practical supports, and emotional scaffolding so they can step back into their careers with confidence, not guilt. We create roles that work around families, not against them.
Championing Work–Life Balance
Women shouldn’t have to choose between leadership and life. Motherhood and meaning. Ambition and wellbeing. We prove every day that you can have a thriving career and a grounded, fulfilling home life, with the right culture behind you.
Opening Leadership Pathways
When women lead, organisations transform. In my work, we actively create opportunities for women to step into leadership, decision-making, and influence, not by waiting for them to “be ready,” but by backing them as they grow.
Growth Through Coaching and Mentoring
My approach has always been “give it a go – we’ll build the plane together.” Because confidence is born through doing. And women flourish when someone stands beside them and says, “I believe in you.”
We give women room to stretch, learn, attempt things they’ve never tried, fail safely, get back up, and discover the strength they’ve had all along.
Why I’m Proud of Give To Gain
Give To Gain captures the heart of everything I believe:
That generosity fuels progress.
That collaboration multiplies impact.
That when women thrive, we all rise.
This International Women’s Day, I’m inviting everyone, individuals, workplaces, communities, partners, to step into that same mindset.
Not because women need saving.
But because women deserve backing.
And because when we give, we gain strength, we become more inclusive and more empowered.
Let’s give with intention.
Let’s support with purpose.
Let’s create opportunity where it didn’t exist before.
Let’s build a future where every woman can say, “I had the chance, and I took it.”
Give to gain. We all win.
